The crocodile farm

The crocodile farm is a unique site in Europe, it allows to change species in a tropical climate in a gigantic greenhouse, heated by a wood-fired. This space also houses a special tropical flora with carnivorous plants, orchids, and tropical ferns. The crocodile farm is the first tourist site visited in the Drôme.

A unique Park in Europe

More than 400 animals live freely in a 8000 m² landscaped greenhouse. There are 9 species of Nile crocodiles, alligators, caimans, crocodiles of Seychelles and Galapagos tortoises and tropical birds.

The crocodile farm is also a garden of botanical and horticultural interest with 600 exotic plant species. The farm participates actively in the conservation and protection of species by working with scientists from around the world.

Opening hours :
The crocodile farm is open every day of the year: from 9:30 am to 7 pm
beginning of April to end of September, from 10 am to 5 pm from early October to late March.

Good to know :
The visit lasts 1 hour 30 approximately.
Every day at 11:00 am: Turtle feeding.
Crocodiles are fed according to their needs.
