The Aquashow

The Aquashow in Audierne presents 160 species in 50 aquariums, touch pool, giant aquariums and exhibits.

In the descent of a Breton River from source to estuary, there are Pike, trout, salmon, eels, crayfish and CARP.

A touch pool allows a privileged contact with many species: rays, dogfish, starfish, sea and flatfish snail.

The giant basin allows for a total immersion in the Breton ocean floor. Coastal sharks alongside Bars more than a metre, large rays, a huddle of 300 bream and an impressive female Bull shark.

City of birds

The Aquashow is also a unique spectacle of birds in Britain. Facing the estuary of the Goyen and the town of Audierne, falconers offer an entertaining and educational show. Birds are presented in free flight and evolve a few inches from the audience.

The 45 minute presentation presents birds of the estuary, hawks and nocturnal raptors. The highlight of the show is the great Cormorant underwater hunting.

Audierne is a fishing port and Marina located on the estuary of Goyen, at the foot of a wooded hill, with a large sandy beach.
