From 1337 to 1453, the competition enters the kingdoms of France and of England, old woman of more than two centuries, appears by a series of wars intersected with long truces: it is what one calls, improperly, “” the One hundred Year old war. On this major conflict are grafted secondary conflicts which imply the allies of two kings (Aragon, Castille, Scotland, princes of the Netherlands and Rhenish Germany), the popes and, in the succession of the civil wars, the French and English industrial barons.
