The Hittite ones were identified during the XIXe century by the archeologists like a confederation of people of Indo-European language - Nésites, Louvites, Palaites, etc - having established a kingdom in Anatolia central towards 1750 av. J. - C. Deprived of natural borders, this kingdom had to battle unceasingly to preserve its historical heart and to seize the rich person and hot grounds the South, before being destroyed by the “People of the Sea” towards 1180 av. J. - C.
In its greater extension, Hittite civilization reached average Euphrate in the east, the Mediterranean coast vis-a-vis Cyprus in the south, but remained crossed Black Sea and Aegean Sea.
